My wife, Nancy, and I have been attending the Remembrance Day festivities since 1992. We began sponsoring this dinner/ball in 2003 so to have everything for the evening at one location instead of having to travel around and make multiple reservations. I invite you to join us in our tenth year at The President's Remembrance Day Ball. The ball will be held this year on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Gettysburg Hotel, in Gettysburg PA. Tenth Annual
Remembrance Day Dinner &
Ball
Dear Friends,
Our tenth annual dinner/ball will be held at the Gettysburg Hotel on the Square on Saturday,
November 17, 2012 in the main ballroom. We are moving up the starting time by a half hour
so as to make the dinner more relaxing. The evening begins with a social hour at 5:30 PM
with hors d'oeuvres and entertainment provided by The Libby Prison Minstrels as well as
singers from The Dodworth Saxhorn Band . The dinner will start promptly at 6:30 PM.
After dinner, as the room is readied for the ball, there will be time to visit the sutlers,
have your image taken by The Victorian Photography Studio or even go out to the Square where there
will be a short outdoor concert.
The ball will begin at 8:30 PM. Music will be provided by The Dodworth Saxhorn Band,
a seventeen piece orchestra with Susan de Guardiola providing instruction for the dances.
With a full dance card you can count on the evening lasting until midnight.
Ticket prices for the evening are $75.00 per person which includes a three course dinner,
all of the usual gifts and great entertainment. Please remember that to prevent overcrowding
attendance is limited to assure plenty of room for dancing. When ordering tickets, please
include an e-mail address and your dinner choices! And this year, there is a new mailing
address for ordering your tickets. Nancy and I have planned this move for years and the time has finally arrived.

All rooms are available as a two night minimum. Let us know if you want one of them.
30 Traditional Rooms with 2 double beds at $160.00 plus tax per night;
7 Luxury Suites with King Bed, Jacuzzi Bath and Gas Fireplace at $190.00 plus tax per night; and
