The Gettysburg Hotel is conveniently located at One Lincoln Square at the junction of Rt. 30 and Business 15, within walking distance of most attractions and within an hour’s drive from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Hershey.
From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)
Take I-95 North towards Baltimore. Exit I-95 onto I-695 North. Follow I-695 North and exit onto I-795 North. Follow to Route 140 West to Westminster, Maryland. Exit Route 140 to Route 97 North and continue approximately 20 miles to the traffic circle in Gettysburg. The hotel will be on your right when you enter the traffic circle.
From Harrisburg International Airport
Take Route 283 West to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Exit at old Exit 17 onto Route 15 (Gettysburg Pike) South. Continue on 15 South for approximately 25 miles and exit at the York Street Exit (Route 30) and proceed West on Route 30. Follow approximately two miles to the traffic circle and the hotel will be on your right side.
Parking
The Racehorse Alley (RHA) Garage, a self-parking garage operated by the Borough of Gettysburg, is located just behind the Gettysburg Hotel on Racehorse Alley and is an ideal parking solution for Gettysburg Hotel guests. There are 356 parking spaces including handicap and van accessible spaces.
The garage is accessible from the first block of Carlisle Street north of Lincoln Square or the first block of North Stratton Street, north of York Street. When passing by the front of our hotel on Lincoln Square, we recommend exiting the roundabout at the left corner of the hotel (Carlisle Street) and taking an immediate right down Racehorse Alley before you pass the Majestic Theater. The rear entrance to our hotel will be on your right; the parking garage will be on the left.
The hourly rate is $1/hour up to a maximum of $12 per 24-hour period; payment is at kiosks in the garage. Parking permits for up to seven days which offer in and out privileges are also available; full details of the different options and online purchase are available at the Gettysburg Parking Department. When purchasing a permit, search for "RHA Garage" for the desired number of days. Parking payments and passes are not issued or processed by the Gettysburg Hotel!
